Ameritrack Railroad Contractors Inc. was Incorporated on January 23, 2003. Ameritrack is located in Frankfort, Indiana on five acres with 1600 square feet of office space and 4500 square feet of warehouse and shop. Ameritrack offers services for maintenance, rehabilitation, new construction, track inspection, feasibility and design studies, and 24-hour emergency service for the entire states of: Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky. Ralph Jackson and Harris Eldridge formerly owned Armcore Railroad Contractors, Inc. from 1978 to 1998. Armcore was sold to another company in November of 1998. Ralph and Harris continued working with the other company until December 2002. They then joined with Mike Jackson in January 2003 and formed Ameritrack Railroad Contractors Inc. Mike Eldridge joined the company in December of 2004. The four principle owners have a combined 90 years experience in the railroad construction and railroad industry, which enables them to cover all aspects of railroad construction and maintenance. |
